Bad Impression

Ben left the dank, ghoul-infested Metro Center underground and found himself in the heart of the destroyed city. Unsurprisingly, enemies awaited him. Ben dispatched some enraged super mutants by blowing off their arms with his scoped magnum. They went down quickly and painlessly, for him. The thought occurred to him about making that procedure his signature. With his new dog, Dogmeat, in tow, he set out west, continuing his journey to catch up with his father. He didn't get far before he noticed a suspicious underpass, beyond which he caught sight of a human. He went down, then, heard a click. Muttering a profanity, light burned into his eyes and then searing pain in his chest. He was able to get up a minute later, pushing out of his way a fire-hydrant dangling on a rope - was that what hit him? Nonetheless, he proceeded carefully a few more steps to reach the unfazed human waiting for him. The "scavenger" was accompanied by two dogs and, despite the drama, seemed interested only in Ben's caps. Ben noted the warm bed and the boxes of equipment scattered around the room. To allay the scavenger's suspicion, Ben sold him some of his junk. Then, as the scavenger started to count the money, Ben pulled out his shotgun and dealt with the man. Dogmeat easily dispatched the dogs. After cleaning out the hovel, Ben glanced wistfully at the bed. But, his moral compass (and the game) would not let him sleep in the dead man's bed, so, he dutifully set off again.

Intro

I want to use this blog as an outlet for my video game obsession. Right now, I am trying to get into Fallout 3 and envy those gamers who immerse themselves in the experience. I hope to write some blurbs about my doings in the game regularly to try to organize a story for my character and increase my enjoyment of the game. I will also post commentaries regarding video game news here to avoid boring people elsewhere.
